We digitally print your art on our corrugated board in CMYK, often referred to as 4-color process, ink with a UV cure. The UV cure ensures your art is set to withstand basic elements and won't rub off. Our printers are calibrated to SWOP standards, but no two digital printers are the same, and we cannot match a PMS color. If color matters to you, please explore our proof options.
If seeing a sample before you place a full order is important to you, you can always order a quantity of 1 with Pratt. This is the best way to see your art. Turn times for custom proof orders will vary; please chat with us if you have a specific deadline, and we'll let you know if we can make it.

Shipping
All custom boxes are printed and shipped via LTL or UPS ground shipping from the facility most efficient for your order. Our boxes are packed in corrugated cardboard boxes, usually no more than 50 pounds each. You will receive a shipping notification when your order is being processed for shipping. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to populate your shipping information. Expedited shipping is available on the shipping calculator. If you require special shipping instructions such as blind shipping, a house UPS account, or an alternate shipping arrangement, you must reach out to customer service to approve and process your request.

Do I need to pay for print plates up front as part of my order?
Nope — there are no plate fees or setup costs when you order with us. We use high-quality digital printing on all our custom pizza boxes, which means you can print full-color designs without the added expense of traditional plate setup. This not only saves you money, but also allows for fast turnaround and flexible design changes — perfect for pizzerias, food trucks, and brands that want to stand out without the wait.
Are there any limitations to my pizza box design?
We give you the freedom to print just about anything—there are no restrictions on the number of colors or design complexity when creating your custom pizza boxes. Our advanced CMYK digital printing allows for full-color artwork, gradients, and detailed illustrations without extra fees.
We print on Kraft brown or mottled white box stock, so while we don’t offer white ink, most designs print beautifully on these surfaces. However, keep in mind that photographic or high-resolution full-color images may not render with the same clarity as they would on coated materials. For the best looking results, we recommend using bold graphics, illustrations, or flat-color designs that make the most of the material's character. For logos, illustrations, patterns, and brand graphics, digital printing offers unmatched flexibility, speed, and value.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom pizza boxes?

Can I put cookies in these boxes?
These boxes are great for flat items like cookies, pastries, brownies, and pies! And as they are made from B-Flute corrugated cardboard material. They can protect cookies with decoration and intricate designs.
Do I need to wrap my products?
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure barriers to the contamination of products intended for direct food contact. We use food-safe water-based ink in our printing process.
Can I design the box with anything on it? I wanted to have a pizza bar for my wedding and hope to put my wedding design on it.

They are a similar size but printed in UV ink, so the color pops a bit more. Our water-based ink and mottled white or kraft material are designed with food safety in mind.

What’s the difference between the square mailer and the pizza box?
The square mailer uses ink with a UV cure to give it a slight sheen; the pizza box uses a water-based, food-safe ink. Use a square mailer if you plan to use it for a t-shirt, housewares, or art. Use a pizza box if you plan to use it for pizza, pastries, cookies, or other food. The pizza box also has a mottled white exterior and no UV cure, so simpler designs and brighter colors will fare better in your designs.
Can I use this box for other food?
The pizza box is ideal for custom cookies, pastries, flatbreads, or even shallow deli trays. The water-based ink is safe for all food. The depth of the box makes it perfect for food items that are less than two inches in depth.
Do the boxes come assembled?
The boxes are shipped flat to minimize the dimensional weight shipping fees. However, the boxes are simple to put together.
Can these boxes be used for special events?
